Link Securities| The company has been awarded the contract by Puertos del Estado for the technological renovation of the maritime port single window in Spain. The tender seeks to provide it with new functionalities and adapt it to the European environment to improve the competitiveness of ports and national foreign trade, as reported yesterday by Europa Press. Specifically, Indra will adapt the Dueport national single window system to the European single window regulation 2019/1239/EU and the European Union (EU) customs code and will be responsible for its maintenance and user support, the technology and defence firm said. The single window allows port actors to fill in once and send electronically to the corresponding authorities all the data on ships arriving at a Spanish port, documents and formalities required on calls, berthing and operations. The solution handles an average of 400 calls per day and serves the 46 Spanish ports of general interest and those of regional ownership, as well as around a thousand agents involved in the operations.
